Learn to defend yourself with Traditional Japanese Style Jujitsu!

Instead of learning "how to fight" and squaring off against an attacker, learn how to end a violent confrontation as quickly as possible while sustaining as little injury to yourself as possible.

Traditional Jujitsu is a Japanese martial art which uses throws, joint locking, choking, strangulation, striking, grappling, and other techniques to subdue an attacker. It was originally the unarmed art of the Samurai and has been used for effective self defense for centuries. (If experience counts, how about a couple of centuries worth of success?)

Traditional Jujitsu often uses an attacker's movement and energy against them. (Ju = "softness controls hardness".) Yoshin Ryu Jujitsu is the Willow Heart or Willow Spirit style/school of jujitsu which is based on the pliability of the willow tree and its ability to bend under force rather than break.

Enjoy low cost, personal training in Traditional Jujitsu in a private, non-commercial atmosphere under the tutelage of old school Black Belt Instructor Steve Vanik in Hollywood or for an additional fee Steve will come to you. "Have mats - will travel". No contracts. No paying for classes not attended. No selling. Free loaner gis (uniforms) available for private students.

Beginner's classes are now open to a limited number of people. E-mail Steve with your schedule requirements.
